The Sprague High School Concert Choir is one of five choral ensembles that continue a long tradition of choral singing at Sprague High School.  Comprised of 50-60 singers, the Concert Choir has performed at national, state, and regional conventions of Music Educators National Conference and American Choral Directors Association.  Sprague choirs have toured the northwest, Canada, California, Florida, New York, and Hawaii.  The choir has received many accolades and honors including 1st place trophies at the OSAA/ACDA State Choir Championships and the “Best of the Northwest” Choral Festival at the University of Portland.  In addition, the music department at Sprague has been selected numerous times as a Grammy Signature School by the GRAMMY foundation.

The primary focus of the Concert Choir is exceptional performance of high quality choral music in a variety of genres. Emphasis is also placed on attaining advanced sight singing skills. Singers in the Concert Choir should be comfortable singing alone and in small groups as a regular part of ensemble rehearsal.

Entrance into Concert Choir is by audition only and after successful work is demonstrated in one of the younger choirs.
